Terms of Use
Last updated: 10 July 2026
1. Who we are and what the service is
“The Agent Academy” (“we”, “us”) is a trading name operated as a sole-trader business in the United Kingdom. The service is a subscription online course that teaches non-technical professionals to automate real work tasks with Claude Code, using a personalized plan generated by an onboarding assistant plus guided lessons in your own terminal.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google or an email magic link. You must be at least 16 (or the digital age of consent where you live, if higher) and keep access to your account email. You are responsible for activity carried out with your session.
3. Payment, renewal, cancellation
The plan costs $5/month (or $39/year) and renews automatically until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see your card details. You can cancel anytime through the Customer Portal in your dashboard; access continues to the end of the period you already paid for. We do not give automatic refunds for periods already started — if something went wrong, email a4you.ay4@gmail.com and we will look at it case by case. Nothing in these terms reduces your statutory consumer rights.
4. What you need (and what we are not)
The course teaches you to use Claude Code, a product of Anthropic. You need your own Anthropic account/plan, purchased directly from Anthropic under their terms and pricing — that cost is not included in our $5/month. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic or Google; all product names belong to their owners.
5. What is yours and what is ours
The course content (lessons, scripts, prompts, videos, the course pack) is ours and is licensed to you for personal use while your subscription is active. Do not share, resell or republish it. What you create with it is yours: your plans, your files, and everything you produce with Claude Code on your computer.
6. Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and reasonably: do not try to bypass the paywall or usage limits, abuse the APIs, use the chatbot for unlawful content or to harm others, or share your account.
7. Honest disclaimers
This is an educational product. AI tools make mistakes: review every command before you run it on your computer, and keep backups of anything important. We do not guarantee specific results — what you get out depends on your case and your use. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those required by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will flag material changes on the site or by email before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
